Please Pray for the situation in Pakistan

The current situation in Pakistan is desperate. The recent devastating flooding in that country has left 33 million people in urgent need of help. Over one third of the country is underwater with millions awaiting help amidst the threat of more flooding.ch and has been a faithful prayer partner with Kingfisher Family for the past three years.
At least 1,208 people have died so far, and 482,000 people have been displaced. The floods were caused by heavier than usual monsoon rains and melting glaciers that followed a severe heat wave, all of which are linked to climate change.

Since mid-June, the monsoons have destroyed 3,000 kilometers of road, 130 bridges and 495,000 homes. Sindh and Balochistan provinces have seen 784% and 500% more rains than average with even more Monsoon rains anticipated in the coming weeks. With more than 4 million acres of crops damaged and almost 800,000 livestock killed, the International Rescue Committee is anticipating a sharp increase in food insecurity and a severe impact on the economy.
Kingfisher Family has links in Pakistan with two people in particular. Maria Aslam is the owner of the Christian YouTube channel: Christian Talks
