Jesus boldly announced that:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.” (Luke 4: 18-19, NL 1).
But what does this mean for those with lifelong struggles, with issues of mental ill health, with learning disabilities? How do health, healing and the spiritual battle come together in ways that don’t condemn, judge or offer false hope? What kind of church would that look like? What kind of leadership would that take?
Join us on October 19th, 2019 as we are equipped together:
• What is the ‘spiritual battle’ and what does it mean to be ‘set free’?
• What is mental ill-health, how does it differ from and relate to Learning Disability?
• Building a healing community
• Leading the church into enemy territory
The venue: Kingfisher church, Tredworth, Moor Street, Gloucester GL 1 4NJ.
All sessions will be videoed and will be available on Kingfisher’s Youtube channel and on our International Website, kingfisherfamily.org
